Friday, ctcLink Back to the Future -3 days – 11/5/21

A lot will happen over the weekend so that we can go live on Monday!  Here is information about the weekend.

The State Board ctcLink Project Team will be working around the clock to convert DG5-C (EvCC, Bellevue, Grays Harbor) to ctcLink.

Today, Friday, November 5, the State Board will take down ctcLink across the state (for those colleges in ctcLink) at 3:00 pm.  They start this evening migrating our configuration to the ctcLink Production (live) environment, staging our security, and conducting conversion activities for all three pillars, Campus Solutions, Finance, and HCM.  Overnight and into tomorrow  the conversion of our data continues.

Saturday, November 6, the State Board continues to convert our data.  It takes over 15 hours to convert the HCM and Finance data and over 20 hours to convert the Campus Solutions data.

Sunday, November 7, in the morning the State Board conducts a final data validation of our college configuration and validation before our EvCC SME/Data Validators conduct validation.  In the afternoon, our EvCC SME/Data Validators will conduct data validation.

On Monday, November 8, 2021 we will go live at 8:00 am in ctcLink and our ctcLink Subject Matter Experts will activate their accounts in ctcLink live production.  We are phasing in activation across campus. Phased activation will allow IT, HR, and Faculty Liaisons to be available to help each group as they activate.

ctcLink Support & FAQs – As we go live with ctcLink employees and students may have questions and issues in regards to activating your account, entering time and leave and basic use of ctcLink.  We have and will continue to add to a basic knowledge base of self-service information.  With an implementation this big, we are asking all of you to first attempt to resolve your questions and issues using self service information available on our ctcLink Intranet site.

Starting Monday, November 8, many of our college services will be closed and not processing transactions.  Our colleagues in these departments need to focus on preparing the systems for go-live, training, and ensuring ctcLink is stable to process our services.

A lot of work has gone into getting us to this point, we appreciate your patience as we go live with ctcLink!
