Everett Community College will likely start our implementation phase of ctcLink in May instead of the end of March, following a ctcLink State Board Steering Committee decision on the timing of Deployment Group 3 (DG3). EvCC is in Deployment Group 5. Our go-live date is tentatively scheduled for October 2021. The ctcLink State Board Steering Committee decided that Deployment Group 3:
- DG3-A: The committee reinforced the decision made at the Feb. 11 meeting for Lower Columbia and Olympic colleges to go-live on March 9, 2020 by officially approving a “Go” for DG3-A on March 9, 2020.
- DG3-B: Approved the DG3-B go-live date of May 11, 2020. Colleges in DG3-B are Cascadia, Peninsula and Pierce.
What does this mean for EvCC?
- We expect the state to delay EvCC’s implementation phase until May. This is good news for us, as it also should move the Business Process Fit Gap sessions from the very busy months of May and June to July and August.
- We will continue to work on training, Change Analysis and Future State planning to prepare for Go Live October of 2021.
To get more information about EvCC’s ctcLink project, see the ctcLink Resources site. As more information is received regarding DG3’s go-live status and/or our DG5 timeline, it will be shared with the college community.
